Introducing "Whiskey 33"
The Story of Our Band
Whiskey 33 was born where the desert sun meets a loud guitar and a little grit. With five members bringing firepower from across the map, the band blends the high-octane country rock of the Southwest with the timeless swagger of classic rock and occasional pop.
MJ, on lead guitar, brings a rich, diverse West Coast sound, shaped by years inside California’s rock and pop landscape.
Jaden, on bass, brings game as one of the most diverse musicians you’ll hear — moving effortlessly from country to rock to pop, with a style that gives the band its signature low-end groove.
Scott, originally from Minnesota, drives the heartbeat on drums, fusing Midwestern rock roots with sharp, road-ready precision.
Up front, Whiskey 33 hits with a powerful dual-vocal attack.
Hayley delivers modern-country presence and range, while Steve’s vocals carry the soul of Oklahoma — a gritty, warm Southwest country-rock style shaped directly by his upbringing.
Together, the band is exactly what its name suggests — bold, smooth, a little wild, and unmistakably original.
Blending Southwest country rock with classic-rock fire, Whiskey 33 hits the stage with a sound made to ignite any crowd.
Introducing the newest force in the Whiskey 33 sound.
A Glendale, Arizona native, Hayley has been performing since the age of eight, carrying an old-soul energy shaped by classic rock records and ’80s film soundtracks. Her voice moves effortlessly across genres, and the stage has always been her true home. With a natural command of a crowd and a passion that runs deep, she brings a powerful new dimension to the Whiskey 33 lineup.

Meet
The Band

LEAD GUITARIST/VOCALS
His musical journey began at age ten with a guitar his parents let him pick off the wall of a local music store—and he’s been hooked ever since. Starting with Elvis and ABBA and soon diving into rock giants like Cheap Trick, KISS, Boston, and Iron Maiden, he was gigging in Milwaukee punk clubs by 15 and recording his first studio album by 20.
In 1986 he moved to Southern California, eventually forming a band with his younger brother that went on to headline Sunset Strip staples including The Whisky, The Roxy, and Gazzarri’s. Later, after years of touring and recording with a signed Orange County band, he shifted his focus to new projects, songwriting, and producing.
After relocating to Goodyear, Arizona, he connected with local musicians and, in 2025, helped form Whiskey 33. A lifelong writer and multi-genre recording artist with several independent releases, he continues to create, perform, and chase the next great musical moment.

BASS/VOCALS
He developed a passion for music almost as soon as he could walk—playing piano by ear at age two before moving to guitar and eventually bass, where everything clicked even deeper. For more than 30 years, he has performed in a wide range of bands, from an original high school ska group to numerous cover and tribute acts spanning multiple genres and eras. He’s also written and recorded original music in styles ranging from heavy metal to country. His performance history includes churches, fairs, festivals, casinos, breweries, private events, and countless live venues. No matter the stage, he loves watching audiences sing along, dance, and lose themselves in the music. Finding a group of remarkable musicians is rare, and he’s grateful to have that with Whiskey 33.

LEAD VOCALIST
Hayley, a Glendale, Arizona native, has been performing since she was eight years old, bringing an old-soul presence shaped by classic rock records and the soundtracks of ’80s cinema. With a voice that moves naturally across genres and a lifelong comfort on stage, she connects with audiences through both power and authenticity. Her dynamic style and magnetic energy add a compelling new dimension to the Whiskey 33 sound.

DRUMMER/VOCALS
His love for drums began in 3rd grade after sneaking behind his older brother’s Gretsch Catalina Maple kit and discovering a natural feel for rhythm. He chose band in elementary school and stayed behind the kit through high school, playing by ear and expanding into marching band, field band, pep band, and jazz band. Influenced early on by Van Halen, The Police, AC/DC, and Rush, he began performing in junior high with his first project band, Serapis.
After a long break during college, the passion returned when he moved to Cottage Grove, MN, where he picked up new Gretsch and Roland kits and joined the classic rock/country rock band Skewed View. Over the next seven years, he performed throughout the Twin Cities and across the Midwest, playing festivals, casinos, private events, and regional venues.
In 2019, he relocated to the Phoenix area and soon connected with local musicians in Estrella Mountain Ranch, helping form what eventually became Latitude 33. Now playing the Roland TD-50KV2, he continues to bring energy and precision to every show.
Grateful to share the stage with talented, like-minded musicians, he looks forward to many more years of driving the heartbeat of the band.

LEAD VOCALIST
Originally from Oklahoma—the home of country legends like Reba, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, and Ronnie Dunn—Steve grew up surrounded by the sounds of country and rock. His earliest musical memories trace back to his dad converting the family garage into a recording studio for a regional country band.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Steve has worked in Los Angeles, Portland, and on stations across all 50 states as a voice-over artist, radio and TV personality, writer, actor, editor, and producer. His lifelong passion for music now fuels the energy-driven country-rock sound of Whiskey 33, where his voice and stage presence help shape the band’s signature style.
